We’re delighted to welcome Madeleine Lucy Poolman to our team of pet photographers! Madeleine is based in Cape Town, and will be photographing pets all around the city, countryside and beaches for us.
Madeleine Is a true animal lover who came to professional animal photography after being deeply affected by an experience with her own pet Lily. This gave Maddie a renewed understanding of her own pets time with her and how short it can be. She understands that photographing your pets is not just for vanity. It is to immortalise your love for them in a picture.
"I’ve been fortunate enough to grow up surrounded by photography and film-making.
Whilst I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a variety of subjects, nothing makes my heart happier than photographing animals, particularly dogs.
Only once I began photographing animals, did I truly realise how important the joy they bring us, and love they bestow on us is!
